Hello Friend,
as promised, today I’m going to explore fear, and what we can do about it, in more detail.
Fear can be both an emotion and a feeling. We tend to use these two words interchangeably, but let me make a quick distinction here:
Emotions are sudden, often unconscious, automatic, largely physiological, responses to all the different things that happen in life. Fear, anger, joy, sadness, disappointment… They will usually come up faster than we can even think.
Feelings, on the other hand, although they start with an emotion, will need more time to develop. They are the result of an emotion combined with our personal interpretation of the circumstances, with our thought patterns, with our life experience and the meaning we give things.
While emotions are universal, feelings are very personal. Having said that for the sake of completeness, both our emotions and feelings are made of energy.
A situation, a person, or any kind of external stimulus can trigger an emotion in us, which has its unique energy. It might be short-lived, and disappear at the same speed it appeared; but if it’s strong enough to stay with us, to have us dwell on it, and react to it in thought, speech, or behaviour, then it will start becoming a feeling, which means that its particular frequency will last longer.
It can become a virtuous circle in case of positive emotions, or a vicious one in case of heavy emotions. The feeling that builds up will trigger more similar thoughts and behaviours, which will then heighten the very emotion, which will then trigger yet more similar thoughts and behaviours.

What I have come to understand about fear — as a constant feeling, not the one that has you run away from a physical threat — over the last decades, is that it’s always the result of some limiting belief.
Now limiting beliefs are the worst kind of abuse you can inflict upon a race of originally unlimited beings. Anything limiting is the result of evil lies, created to manipulate humans, and rob them of their power. And the way you do that is, you stun them until their bodies and minds lose the connection with their souls. So they feel lost, they forget what they are, and they become weak and fearful.
Trace any fear you can think of, back to the root and you will see that it can only exist for as long as your body and mind are going through this life by themselves, without the guidance of your soul.
Every fear, with no exception, originates from a lie you’ve been told and have accepted as truth. You can safely replace the words “I’m afraid that” with the words “I believe this lie, that”
● I’m not good enough
● I don’t deserve it
● This is too good to be true
● I’ll fail
● I’m bad at this
● I don’t have time
● I’m not smart enough
● It’s too late
● I can never be/do/have that
● Others are better than me
● I need to be perfect
● Things are hard
● I won’t be seen or heard
● Health and illness are a matter of luck
● If I make money, I become a bad person
● If people judge me, bad things will happen
….
I have come to understand that every fear is an opportunity. Have a look at it. How much truth does it contain? It might have a point, but that’s for you to work with it, not to succumb to it.
Take for example “I can never be/do/have that”. Ok, so maybe right now you’re not in a position to be/do/have that. ‘Right now’ might be true, but ‘never’ is always a big fat lie. What separates you from this thing you want? Break it down and start tackling it. You’ll see that there’s no real reason why you cannot have it.
And also make sure the end result of what you want is really clear. Because sometimes we mistake a certain thing for the actual feeling we want to get from it. And then we chase that thing, and when we get it, we realise that it’s not what we really wanted. Sometimes there might be a different, even better thing, and a different, even better way, of getting to that feeling we want.
Fears are huge challenges until we realise they’re only very clumsy lies. Over time, I’ve learnt to take them apart, which is actually great fun!
As usual, I like doing things on both the physical plane and the energy plane at the same time. While the process I just mentioned happens in the sphere of the logical mind, you also have the hugely powerful tool of resonance at your service.
If you remember that every frequency you’re ever broadcasting into the universe, can only resonate with things of similar frequencies, then your best strategy is to stop sending out that signal of fear straightaway! By being in fear, you keep attracting the very essence of fear into your experience. Don’t do that.
Look for your next better-feeling thought, that will trigger your next better-feeling emotion, which will turn into your next better-feeling feeling 😊. One step at a time.
Do you remember Donald Duck and Gladstone Gander? They’re cousins, they’re so similar, but their energy is so different! The one who’s always scared and doesn’t believe anything good can happen to him, will actually never get anything good. It cannot be otherwise. And the one who’s always confident and expects happy things to happen to him, will always get happy things. It cannot be otherwise. That’s how the universe works.
Let me know if you’re stuck somewhere with this. I’ll gladly jump on a quick call with you, and help you bust a lie or two, that might be messing with your energy right now ❤️
Have a wonderful Sunday!
