Dear Friend,
can you believe it’s the last Sunday of the year already?
This was definitely the shortest and fastest year of my whole life so far! Unbelievable…
It was a good year though, full of beautiful things which confirmed to me that I am pretty much on purpose with what I do and believe…
I’m so grateful for you, Friend, I’m really honoured to have you here, inside my beautiful community! ❤️
In these times of profound change, our communities become more and more valuable.
While it’s really important to stay open and curious, hear new things, investigate new paths, do our own research on things; I believe that knowing where we can find people with similar values and a similar approach to life, and who will be able and willing to listen to us and to share with us, is of the utmost importance.
I’m observing a widespread shift towards deeper connection amongst people, towards more inclusion regardless of politics, a rising will to take back responsibility for our lives, and an ever-growing readiness to question old systems, beliefs, and authorities.
You know that my message is one of love, of worth, of freedom. You know that what makes my heart sing, is when I see human beings bloom, remember their greatness, and, as per my trademark, “reawaken to their radiance”. 💛😍
This blooming metaphor has always been a big one for me. I expand on it a little bit more in this short piece on my blog, if you fancy an extra 2-minute read:
So what is your personal idea of blooming? That’s one of the biggest questions my coaching clients ask themselves.
There are many ways of gaining clarity on this, and today I want to show you the beautiful Japanese concept of Ikigai.
The term is often translated as “a reason for being” or “a reason to live”. It’s about living a life of purpose. And this purpose is where our daily activities and goals align with our personal satisfaction and contribute to the greater good.
According to Ikigai, everyone has a unique reason for being. And this reason is found at the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what you can be paid for, and what the world needs.
Here’s an image to help us become clearer:

As you can see, your real Ikigai must be the result of al four aspects, and that is found only in the very centre of the image. Where any three come together, but the fourth one is missing, you have an imbalance in your life.
Feel free to share this with anyone you hear is looking for some clarity, and please let me know how it goes! I’m here if you’d like some help with it.
I hope you’re happy with how this year went for you, all in all. There will probably be some great and some less great things, if you’re looking back. But I hope you can find things you did in a way that makes you feel happy with yourself, and that you can be proud of. Just make a note of the things you want to keep as they are, and of the ones you want to do differently in the future. And please, above all, be kind to yourself!
Forget the Draconian new years’ resolutions, don’t blame or shame yourself for anything. Just lovingly acknowledge that you’re an ever-evolving, ever-growing consciousness, and look forward to your next steps and stages.
You cannot get this wrong. Keep what you love and change what you don’t love.
I promise, it’s as easy as that!
Have lots of fun, and may all your most cherished dreams come true!
